IU Northwest Asia Day festival returns on Thursday, Oct. 1

Event to feature food, music and cultural performances

The Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics will sponsor the 2009 Asia Day festival on Thursday, Oct. 1, on the IU Northwest campus. Students, local citizens and visiting guests will entertain the campus with music and dances from the Far East and South Asia in the campus commons. The event runs from approximately 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and also includes free Asian foods.

Asia Day is a popular cultural event that features Asian delicacies, performances from Asian dancers and musicians, colorful and traditional ethnic dress, and other attractions. The campus and community are invited to come out and join in this festive celebration.
