The Indiana University Alumni Association invites all Northwest Indiana alumni to a reception with IU President Michael McRobbie, IU Northwest Chancellor Bruce Bergland, and the IU Board of Trustees on Thursday, June 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Savannah Auditorium lobby. McRobbie and the Board will be at IU Northwest for their June 2009 meeting, and they will take that opportunity to greet local members of the IU family.
Refreshments will be served at the event, and there will be a short formal program at 6:15 p.m. Alumni who plan to attend are asked to RSVP no later than Monday, June 8, at 3 p.m. by emailing their information to alumninw@iun.edu. They may also RSVP by calling either IU Northwest Alumni Relations Director Paulette LaFata-Johnson at (219) 980-6769 or the Office of University Relations at (219) 980-6800.

Shoulders, who is Chair of the External Relations Committee and Trustee Liaison to IU Southeast; Facilities Committee Chair William R. Cast, who is Trustee Liaison to IU Northwest; Long-Range Planning Committee Chair Philip N. Eskew, Jr., who is Trustee Liaison to IU South Bend; Finance & Audit Committee Chair Thomas E. Reilly, Jr., who is Trustee Liaison to IU East; Academic Affairs & University Policies Committee Chair Sue H. Talbot, who is Trustee Liaison to IU Kokomo; Member Jack M. Gill, who is Trustee Liaison to Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne; Member Derica W. Rice, who is Trustee Liaison to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis; and Student Trustee Arthur D. (A.D.) King.
IU Northwest is pleased to welcome President McRobbie and the IU Board of Trustees to the Northwest campus in June. IU alumni from across Northwest Indiana are encouraged to come out and meet their Indiana University officials.
