IU Northwest School of Business and Economics, IU Northwest Business Alliance host annual event

The Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics and the IU Northwest Business Alliance will host the 2009 Business Speakers Series Luncheon on Thursday, April 23, in the Metropolitan Ballroom on the second floor of the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville. This year's keynote speaker will be Morton J. Marcus, director emeritus of the Indiana Business Research Center at IU's Kelley School of Business.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and the program begins at 12 p.m. Tickets are $35. Call (219) 980-6633 to make reservations.

With a relaxed and humorous style, Morton Marcus brings difficult economic and business topics into clearer focus, makes sense of government policies, and provides new insight into complex trends. In Marcus's hands, economics is transformed from the so-called "dismal science" to the art and fun of prospering responsibly. Marcus is a renowned speaker whose style is easily adapted to church groups, business and regulatory organizations, and even fourth-grade classrooms.

The IU Northwest School of Business and Economics and the IU Northwest Business Alliance invite the campus and the Northwest Indiana business community to take part in the 2009 Business Speakers Series Luncheon on April 23 with Morton Marcus. Enjoy a terrific lunch, take advantage of great networking opportunities, and hear an insightful and entertaining take on today's economic climate from one of IU's foremost business experts.
