Fans of Indiana University Northwest basketball will have the opportunity to listen to this week’s men’s and women’s RedHawk teams compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament, dubbed “Thunder on the Three Rivers,” when the teams take the floor March 4 in their first-round match-ups.
Although the teams are scheduled to play at the same time in different locations, the Web-streaming broadcast schedule is arranged so that fans will be able to listen to both games at different times.
The sixth-seeded IU Northwest men’s team will take the floor on Wednesday, March 4, against third-seeded Rochester College, out of Michigan, at host university Penn State — Fayette (Game 3). Game time is at 12 p.m. Chicago time (1 p.m. Pittsburgh time), but the game will be broadcast at 5 p.m. Chicago time (6 p.m. Pittsburgh time). The men are competing in the USCAA Men’s Division I tournament.
The 10th-seeded Lady RedHawks will take the floor at 12 p.m. Chicago time against seventh-seeded Briarcliffe College, out of New York, at the Penn State — Greater Allegheny campus (Game W4). But their broadcast will commence just one hour later, at 1 p.m. Chicago time (2 p.m. Pittsburgh time), according to the broadcast schedule posted at the USCAA tournament Web site.

The schedule for subsequent games will be determined by Wednesday’s results. The USCAA tournament has a round-robin format, which means each team is guaranteed to play multiple games regardless of outcomes.
