Registration
is currently underway at Indiana University Northwest for both
summer sessions and the Fall 2008 semester. Students presently
enrolled at the university may register online using the OneStart
system. Most summer classes have slots remaining, but space is
limited and students are encouraged to register early for their
classes of choice.
Online registration service is available at all times except
the hour from 4 a.m. until 5 a.m. CDT Monday through Saturday,
and from midnight until 8 a.m. CDT on Sunday. Current summer and
fall schedules can be viewed at https://onestart.iu.edu, or http://www.iun.edu/~regisnw/register.shtml.
Summer Session I begins on Monday, May 12. Anyone registering
from May 12 through May 16, the end of registration, must pay a
$40 late fee. Summer Session II begins on Monday, June 30. Anyone
registering from June 30 through July 7, the end of registration,
must pay the $40 late fee.
Fall 2008 classes begin on Monday, Aug. 25, and late registration
begins on that day and extends until Saturday, August 30. The $40
late fee applies to late registrations.
For registration assistance, students may call the Registration
Helpline at (219) 980-6815 or visit the Registrar's Office in Room
109 Hawthorn Hall.
Many Northwest Indiana students who attend other schools during
the academic year enroll as guest students at IU Northwest for
its summer classes. To learn more about how to enroll as a guest
student, contact the IU Northwest Office of Admissions at (219)
980-6991 or drop by Room 100 Hawthorn Hall. Summer enrollment is
also open to non-traditional and returning students, and to those
who are just interested in taking a class.
