Spring Preview Night at IU Northwest set for April 2

Students of all ages are invited to tour the campus, meet with faculty and learn about college life

Indiana University Northwest will host a Spring Preview Night on Wednesday, April 2, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Savannah Center, located at 3400 Broadway in Gary, Ind. High school students, adult learners and other students of all ages and interests are invited to speak with faculty members, learn about campus groups and programs, tour the facilities, and attend a financial aid presentation during this event.

IU Northwest offers a wide range of academic programs and disciplines to Northwest Indiana students who would like to earn their Indiana University degrees close to home. IU Northwest’s academic units include the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business and Economics, the School of Education, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, the Division of Continuing Studies, and, now, the College of Health and Human Services, which includes programs in nursing, dental education, radiological science, health information management, and social work. Classes at IU Northwest are taught by committed and knowledgeable faculty members with academic and professional expertise in their fields, and small class sizes ensure that students receive valuable personalized attention from instructors.

IU Northwest also offers a vibrant and diverse campus atmosphere with myriad opportunities for participation in clubs, athletics, student organizations, and other extracurricular programs. State-of-the-art campus facilities, such as the new Dunes Medical/Professional Building, offer every technical advantage in students’ pursuit of education, and the university’s quiet, beautiful campus grounds offer an ideal setting for study and reflection. Best of all, IU Northwest is centrally located in the heart of the region, just a half-mile from I-80/94 at Broadway.

Spring Preview Night is open to traditional and non-traditional students and their families. RSVPs are recommended. Please RSVP no later than March 28 by calling (888) 968-7486 or (219) 980-6823. Electronic registration is available online at http://www.iun.edu/~admit/.
