IU Northwest to host American Badminton League Great Lakes College Regional on Feb. 10

Indiana University Northwest is pleased to serve as host site for the 2007 American Badminton League Great Lakes College Regional on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Savannah Center Gymnasium. The co-ed competition will run from 12 p.m. until approximately 7 p.m.

The ABL utilizes a fast-paced, co-ed team format that requires a minimum of two male players and two female players for each team. College faculty, staff and alumni are eligible to participate in this tournament, provided they do not comprise more than half of any team’s members. Student team members must currently be attending either full-time or part-time as undergraduate or graduate students.

There is no entry fee for this competition. Wilson Tournament feather shuttles will be provided. The winning team will receive a tournament trophy.

The ABL Great Lakes College Regional has traditionally drawn teams from across Illinois and Indiana. Past winners include Indiana University, the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois, Purdue University, and Ball State University.
