IU Northwest invites high school students, parents to ‘College Prep 101’ on Nov. 16

Event offers tips on college admissions, financial aid

Selecting a college or university and applying for admission can be one of the most challenging and important events in a student’s life. On Nov. 16, Indiana University Northwest invites college-bound students and their parents to attend “College Prep 101,” an informative workshop designed to provide useful tips on navigating the college application process.

“College Prep 101” will answer many of students’ and parents’ questions about college searches and admissions, scholarships and financial aid, and other matters. This program is open to all area college-bound students, whether or not they are considering attending IU Northwest.

We encourage students and their parents to take part in this event and pick up some valuable tips on how to navigate any university’s comprehensive admissions process. IU Northwest is pleased to provide this informational program for the benefit of college-bound students and their families in Northwest Indiana.

“College Prep 101” will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the IU Northwest Savannah Center Auditorium, located at 3400 Broadway in Gary, Ind. To RSVP for “College Prep 101,” call (219) 980-6991 or (888) 968-7486 by Nov. 14.
