Indiana University Northwest invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and all area IU fans to help defeat Purdue University in the statewide Blood Donor Challenge now underway between the two schools. IU Northwest will host its second and final blood drive Nov. 6. Community members are encouraged to help support IU’s quest to collect the most pints of life-saving blood by Nov. 10.
The IU Northwest blood drive will take place on campus in the Moraine Student Center on Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. To make an appointment, contact Trudy McFarland at (219) 980-6600 or e-mail her at gmcfar@iun.edu. Interested donors may also visit the American Red Cross donor site at www.givelife.org and enter IUN as the sponsor code.
One blood donation helps three people. IU Northwest invites everyone to help support Indiana hospitals and IU by donating blood.
The IU vs. Purdue Blood Donor Challenge began Sept. 18. Each presenting donor will receive an IU vs. Purdue Blood Donor Challenge t-shirt.
