The Northwest Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association will host its first annual IU Golf Outing on Wed., Sept. 13 at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville. Registration begins at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m., with a shotgun-start tee time of 12:00 p.m. This annual event will help raise money to fund student scholarships.

The $175 individual cost of attendance includes lunch, an awards buffet, 18 holes of golf, a golf umbrella, golf cart, tournament prizes, refreshments on course, and a team photo. Foursomes can be purchased for a discounted price of $600. For those wishing to only attend the dinner tickets are available for $40.

Area business and individuals are welcome to participate by either signing up to play or sponsor holes on the course. Sponsorship includes a golf hole sponsorship sign displaying the company logo and publicity in local media.
