Exhibitors sought for IU Northwest non-profit resource fair

The Indiana University Northwest Non-Profit Institute (NPI) is looking for vendors to participate in an Open House and Resource Fair on Sept. 20. Eligible participants include registered 501-c3 non-profit organizations that serve Northwest Indiana, as well as for-profit businesses that provide services to non-profits in the region. The vendor fee for for-profit participants is only $25; non-profit vendors may participate for free. The NPI mission is to increase the organizational capacity and financial sustainability of nonprofit organizations in Northwest Indiana. The Institute provides such services as one-on-one technical assistance, technology education and resources, networking for community building, and professional development courses and workshops for staff, volunteers and board members. The Sept. 20 program will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the NPI office, located in the IU Northwest Library Conference Center.

The mission of the Center for Regional Excellence is to foster learning, scholarship, discovery, creativity, and service in the areas of cultural discovery and learning, and sustainable regional vitality in collaboration with the communities that IU Northwest serves. GRANTS, Inc. is a technical assistance and professional development provider specializing in organizational development, program design, grant writing and fund development for nonprofit agencies that serve children, families and the disabled in Northwest Indiana. Together, these two organizations administer NPI in collaboration with the IU Northwest Library and other academic units and community organizations.
