Build your skills at IU Northwest leadership workshops

Effective leadership requires understanding and mastery of basic skill sets that are essential in fulfilling the responsibilities that come with leadership roles. But how do you acquire and hone those skills? The Institute for Innovative Leadership at Indiana University Northwest is conducting a series of leadership workshops aimed at refining and building skills that leaders already possess or feel they could improve.

These workshops cover different areas of leadership and management roles and are offered to individuals who are in leadership positions and have had leadership experiences. Each course’s highly interactive formats encourage communication and learning that are vital elements for teachers, managers, business owners and organizational officers. There is a $50 fee for each workshop and this fee is tax deductible.

All workshops will be held at IU Northwest. The schedule for the summer workshops is as follows:

Managing Your Resources, Wed., June 28, 1pm-5pm., Library Conference Center, rm. 105C

Embracing Change, Thurs., July 13, 1pm-5pm., Library Conference Center, rm. 110

The Art and Science of Persuasion, Thurs., July 27, 9am-1pm., Raintree Hall, rm. 202
