The Latino student group ALMA from IU Northwest is taking applications for scholarships to be awarded during the 3rd Annual Scholarship Endowment Fundraiser Event November 12th. Applicants must be of Latino descent, with a GPA of at least 2.0 and who plan to attend IU Northwest during the Spring or Fall 2006 semesters.

ALMA is the IU Northwest Latino student organization, comprised of students, faculty and staff from various backgrounds who are committed to enhancing and improving the opportunities available to current and future Latino students at IU Northwest. Events such as the Endowment Fundraiser Event are open to the public and are intended to foster a connection between the students and the community.
