Professors debate issue of physician-assisted suicide

The second round of hot-topic debates will address the issue of physician-assisted suicide on Thursday, March 24 from 1 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. in the Library Conference Center, room 105A.

Mark Sheldon, Ph.D., college lecturer in philosophy and also in the Medical Ethics and Humanities Program, Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University will debate Pat Bankston, Ph.D., director of the IU Northwest Center for Medical Education. Sociology Club Advisor Tanice Foltz, Ph.D., associate professor of sociology, will serve as the moderator.

The Sociology Club is co-sponsoring the debate with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), IU Northwest student chapter. The community is welcome to attend this free event.
