Lake County students exhibit science and art projects

Everyone is welcome to stop by and check out the fascinating array of Lake County’s student science and art projects at the annual Calumet Regional Science Fair and Associated Art Exhibit hosted by Indiana University Northwest.

The fair is open to the public from Noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12 in the Savannah Center gymnasium.

Area students from the fifth through twelfth grades are competing for prizes and scholarships. Top Senior Division (10 -12 grade) projects will go on to exhibit at the International Science Fair in Phoenix, Ariz. this May. Top Junior (7-8 grade) and Senior Division projects will exhibit at the Hoosier State Science and Engineering Fair in Indianapolis, which will be held on April 1.
