Working Smarter workshop offers free college, career counseling

The IU Northwest Office of Career Services will present a free workshop, "Working Smarter (In Tough Times) 2003," Wednesday, June 25 from 6

8:30 p.m. in the Savannah Center, room 203/204.

Participants will learn about the process, procedures and requirements in applying for college as well as how to get involved in the Earn and Learn tuition program sponsored by United Parcel Service. The workshop will also present valuable information about how to find a job after graduation.

"Working Smarter (In Tough Times) 2003" at IU Northwest is part of the annual Work Smarter series, a collaboration between The Times of Northwest Indiana and local universities. During the last week in June each school is offering a workshop and counseling aimed at helping participants find a job, change careers or gain new skills to compete in a competitive job market.
