“Preparing a Case for Excellence in Teaching” is the theme of the next workshop sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL) to be held on Tuesday, March 4 in the Library Conference Center, room 330.
This workshop is designed to help participants prepare a case for excellence in teaching, whether it is for tenure and promotion or a teaching award, said Charlotte Reed, Ed.D., director of CETL.
“Each presenter has a wealth of information and a range of experience. Their perspectives represent those of award recipients, committee chairs and an academic vice chancellor,” she said.
The time and presenters for each session are listed below:
• Session I – Tenure and Promotion: Presented by Mary Russell, Ph.D. and Roberta Wollons, Ph.D. 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Session II – President's and Founder's Day Awards: Presented by Chuck Gallmeier, Ph.D. and Iztok Hozo, Ph.D. 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Session III – FACET and Trustee's Award: Presented by Don Coffin, Ph.D. and Geoff Schultz, Ph.D. 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
