Over two-dozen agencies will be on hand for the Annual Criminal Justice Career Day sponsored by the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Northwest on Wednesday, October 9, 2002.
The annual career day will be from 12:00 Noon - 3:30 P.M.in the Moraine Student Center Lounge, and will include representatives from the following agencies:
Chicago, Illinois Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Gary Police Department, Hammond Police Department, Highland Police Department, Indiana State Police, Indiana Police Corps, Lake County Criminal Court – (Felony) Probation Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Department, Madison, Wisconsin Police Department, Munster Police Department, Portage Police Department, SPEA Public and Nonprofit Service Internship Program, U.S. Postal Inspectors, U.S. Probation/Pretrial Services, U.S. Secret Service and more.
“This annual event is designed to serve our students and the community by providing information on the many career opportunities in the public and nonprofit sector,” says Joseph Pellicciotti, SPEA director.
The Criminal Justice Career Day is open to students of all majors, from other
campuses, and to members of the Northwest Indiana community. There is no charge.
