Adults and children from northwest Indiana will participate in Indiana University Northwest's second annual Bike Rodeo to learn about safety measures while riding a bike. This year's rodeo will be held on Saturday, June 8, at Indiana University Northwest's east parking lot at 33rd Avenue and Broadway at 11:00 a.m.
The Bicycle Rodeo emphasizes tips for safe riding along with a complete inspection of your bicycle. Each participant will receive identification tags and be eligible for prizes including a free bicycle.
This year's rodeo is sponsored by Gary State Farm Agents, the Glen Park Community Development Corporation and Indiana University Northwest. This event is free and open to the community.
