Spirits, the Literary/Arts Magazine of Indiana University Northwest, is being recognized for its artistic collection on Friday, April 29.
Join IU Northwest students, staff and community participants in celebrating the Spring 2002 and Fall 2001 Spirits editions on Friday, April 29 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Barnes and Nobles bookstore in Merrillville, IN. Participants can share the experience of self-expression through live poetry and prose and listen to artists share their personal interpretations of their works.
Spirits is published bi-annually and accepts original, previously unpublished art, fiction,
poetry, essays, and photography from IUN students, staff, faculty, and alumni. Selections from residents of Lake, LaPorte, and Porter counties in Indiana are also accepted. Submissions are judged anonymously by selection committee members consisting of students and faculty from IUN. Committee members are selected on a voluntary basis and all are encouraged to participate.
