Indiana University Northwestís Communication Department will be hosting its bi-annual Speech Forum 2002 on April 20 at 10:00 a.m. to noon in Raintree 102 on campus.
The forum will cover social and cultural issues and will feature one student form each public speaking course on campus. Each student will represent their class by presenting a short speech on issues pertaining to the topic.
The purpose of the IU Northwest communication program is to provide students with an opportunity to investigate communication processes, develop communication skills and learn how to facilitate the communication of others. For purposes of organization and utility, the following emphasis areas have been combined into a single department: Business and Organizational Communication, Media Studies, Rhetoric and Public Communication, and Relational Communication.
