The "Glass Slipper" Unfolds at IU Northwest

Take time for you and your child and come see the classic "glass slipper" story unfold in an all new production of "Cinderella" at Indiana University Northwest. Theatre Northwest will present this beloved fairy tale on April 6 and April 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Theatre Northwest.

Sponsored by Theatre Northwest, "Cinderella" is part of the theaterís mission to promote a combination of magic, music, and comedy as the ingredients for a great experience for the entire family.

In 1961, a production of the comedy Bell, Book and Candle probably weren't aware that they were initiating what was to become a tradition of live theatre on this campus. Their efforts launched what would eventually evolve into a Bachelor of Arts degree program at Indiana University Northwest.

Throughout the years, Theatre Northwest has evolved into a theatre that offers professionally mounted productions compatible with the university setting. Since 1974, the first year of the degree program, Theatre Northwest's entire season has been produced exclusively by the IU Northwest students and faculty.

All tickets are $7.00 with discount rates available for groups of twenty or more. Ample free parking is available on campus. Reservations can be made by calling (219) 980-6808.
