Indiana University Northwestís Center for Career Services is hosting a series of free career seminars and breakout sessions entitled Career Fridays to the public during the spring 2002 academic year.
Friday, February 22, the Center for Career Services will assist the public "Remaining Motivated in a Competitive Job Market." The session will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the IU Northwest Savannah Center, room 203-204. Immediately following the discussion, professionals will be on hand to discuss "Continuing Your Education Whatís Available" from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the IU Northwest Savannah Center 203-204.
The seminar includes three concurrent breakout sessions which participants are encouraged to choose one: "Successful Career Transitions" consisting of a small panel of individuals who have succeeded in re-careering; "Know Your Rights on the Job", an information session about your rights on the job including discussion on age discrimination; and "Assess Yourself," a group of registered individuals who utilize Focus II, an on-line career assessment tool.
