Effective February 15, Linda B. Templeton will begin her new appointment as the Director of Admissions at Indiana University Northwest. Her responsibilities will include supervising counselors and support staff as well as overseeing the implementation of the universityís academic recruitment strategies.
Templeton comes to IU Northwest from Huntington, WV after working for Marshall University. Templeton received her EdD from West Virginia University, and her MBA and BS degree in business administration from Marshall University.
"It is a privilege to have the opportunity to become a member of the IUN family," says Templeton. "I am excited to begin a long and successful partnership with both the university community and the community at large."
During her years at Marshall University, beginning in 1974, Templeton has held numerous appointments including instructor, advisor, coordinator, and associate director of Admissions. Templeton has served as chair of the Marshall University Admissions Advisory Committee, was a member of the Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers, and represented the university at several conferences including the NACAC and the AACRAO.
