Indiana University Northwestís School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) is hosting a public information forum on the level of preparedness in Northwest Indiana in the event of a terrorist attack. 

The community forum will be held Friday, November 16 from 2:30 p.m. to
5:30 p.m. in Raintree Hall, room 102 on campus. 

Panelists will include:
Jeffrey Miller, Lake County Emergency Management Agency
Garnett Watson, Public Safety Officer for the City of Gary
Miguel Arrendondo, Chief, Lake County Police
Michael Perry, Office of the U.S. Postmaster General 

Presiding: 
Attorney Jackie Gipson, SPEA Adjunct Faculty
Professor Gary Martin, SPEA Criminal Justice Professor

The event offers excellent sessions for the local high school students.  At the close of the ceremony, SPEA Professor Karen Evans, will ask the students to take the oath of citizenship.
