The IU Northwest School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) will host its annual Criminal Justice Career Day on Wednesday, October 10 from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the Moraine Student Center on campus.
"The annual event is designed to serve our students and the community by providing information on the many career opportunities in criminal justice," states Joseph Pellicciotti, director of the Public and Environmental Affairs programs at IU Northwest.
Representatives from over 25 agencies are expected to be on hand. Some agencies include the Chicago Police Department, Lake County Superior and Criminal Courts, U.S. Army, U.S. Secret Service, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The presentation is free and open to all interested IU Northwest students, students from other colleges, and the community.
The School of Public and Environmental Affairs is a professional school, offering the Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and a Criminal Justice concentration at the master's level.
