Summer Breezin’ at IU Northwest Brings
Campus and Community Together for Lunchtime Fun 

 Live band performances will be part of Indiana University Northwest’s new Summer Breezin’ lunchtime series of music and food for the campus and community. With the beautiful IU Northwest campus courtyard and fountain as the backdrop, seven dates have been set throughout the summer for individuals to enjoy band performances by recognized Northwest Indiana musicians. All bands will play in the courtyard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Thursday dates.

  • June 7  The Ron Pickett Trio (traditional jazz combo)
  • June 21 Monterrey (rock band with a twist of Latin)
  • July 5  Allegro 4 (jazz and R&B)
  • July 19  Zomar (inspirational/gospel jazz)
  • August 2 White Dove (Caribbean/reggae)
  • August 16 Crawpuppies (rock–70s, 80s)
  • September 13 BBI (rock and R&B mix)
The Summer Breezin’ lunchtime series is sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office at IU Northwest and is open to the community free of charge. Lunch will also be available to purchase from local food vendors.
