Indiana University's Mike Davis and Cam Cameron
Are Featured Speakers at Northwest Golf Outing

Indiana University's head basketball coach, Mike Davis and head football coach, Cam Cameron will be featured speakers at the annual IU/IU Northwest Golf Classic at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville on June 4.
Davis, who was appointed by IU President Myles Brand in March, served as interim coach this past season and led the Hoosiers to a 21-13 record, the Big Ten tournament title game and their 16th consecutive appearance in the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament. He is the 25th coach to lead the program in its 101-year history and succeeds Bob Knight, who was removed as coach in September 2000. Prior to his new role as head coach, Davis served as assistant coach for three seasons. He came to Indiana after a two-year stint as assistant coach at the University of Alabama. .

After serving as assistant coach for the Washington Redskins, Cameron was just 35-years-old at the time of his Indiana appointment as head football coach in 1996. Also Indiana University alum, he became the school's 24th head football coach replacing Bill Mallory who served as head coach from 1984-1996. Cameron is known for his excellent work with special teams and his overall administration of the IU football team, as well as his expertise on the offensive side of the football where he has made Indiana one of the most productive and explosive teams in college football.
