Sydney Olympian Speaks on Creating a Healthy Self Image 
at IU Northwest

Athlete and Olympian, Mary Beth Larsen-Iagorashvili will speak on Building and Creating a Healthy Self-Image on Monday, April 23 at Indiana University Northwest. A three-time National Pentathlon Champion and six-time National Tetrathlon Champion, Iagorashvili will be also be speaking on goal setting and visualization during her presentation from 2 to 4 p.m. in the university’s Savannah Center Auditorium. 

Originally from Wisconsin, Iagorashvili now resides in Texas. She is the 1999 Pan-American Games Gold Medallist, and the 1999 US National Champion. She also ranked 3rd place in the 1998 Ironman Triathlon, and 4th place in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Iagorashvili’s strong sports are swimming and fencing.

“You can reach your goals and fulfill your dreams by working hard and staying focused,” says Iagorashvili. “Experiencing the everyday process is an important part of that journey.”
