In its eleventh year, the Annual Forum on Child Abuse and Neglect will be hosted at Indiana University Northwest on Friday, April 6 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Raintree Auditorium. The forum will address both state and local perspectives on abuse, neglect and child welfare policy issues.

Also presenting at the forum will be Bruce Hillman, director of the Lake County Division of Family and Children. He will focus on the state of child welfare services in Lake County, as well as report on recent child welfare program initiatives to combat abuse and neglect in the county.
Following the presentations, Judge Mary Beth Bonaventura, of the Superior Court of Lake County-Juvenile Division, will join Hmurovich and Hillman for a panel discussion on child welfare public policy issues.
