School of Art Institute art historian, Lisa Wainwright, curator of the Flesh to Steel art exhibition at Indiana University Northwest will speak on social issues concerning beauty pageants, as well as the art in her exhibition that focuses on male bodies, concepts of masculinity, and men of steel on February 26 from noon to 1 p.m. Joining Wainwright in the discussion at the IUN Gallery for Contemporary Art is international artist and fine art professor, Dave Klamen. The discussion is open to the community free of charge. The Flesh to Steel exhibition will be in the gallery through March 2.
Gallery hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday,
and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and by appointment on the weekends.
