How To Be An Effective Public Speaker Indiana University Northwest’s Institute for Innovative Leadership is offering a workshop on the skills and techniques that lead to Effective Public Speaking on February 7 from 8 a.m. to noon in the university’s Library Conference Center. The workshop is designed for business professionals, community leaders, and students wanting to make stronger, more presentations while overcoming fears associated with public speaking. “This is an interactive workshop that will help individuals better understand their strengths, look at ways to improve their performance, and to become comfortable with what they have to offer in the way of good presentations,” says Keith Kirkpatrick, workshop presenter and executive director of the Leadership Institute. The Effective Public Speaking workshop is open to the community. There is a $50 fee and registration is required. For more information on the Leadership Institute, or to register for the workshop, telephone 219-981-5631, or go to www.iun.edu/~ldrship. |
