Students and community members interested in careers in criminal justiceare invited to attend the Indiana UniversityNorthwest School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA)annual Criminal Justice Career Day on October 11. Open to all interestedindividuals free of charge, the event will be from noon to 3:30 p.m. oncampus in the Moraine Student Center. Representatives from approximately 30 agencies are expected to be on-handto discuss career opportunities and include the ChicagoPolice Department, Hammond PoliceDepartment, Indianapolis PoliceDepartment, New Albany PoliceDepartment, Schererville PoliceDepartment, SouthBend Police Department, Indiana Department of NaturalResources (LawEnforcement Division), Lake County CommunityCorrections, U.S. Air Force, U.S.Army, U.S. Attorney’s Office (Law EnforcementDivision), U.S. PostalInspectors, and the SPEA Public and Nonprofit Service Internship Program. “This annual event is designed to serve our students and the communityby providing information on the many career opportunities in criminal justice,”says Joseph Pellicciotti,SPEA director.
