Indiana University Northwest ChancellorBruce Bergland recently announcedthe appointment of AnnaS. Rominger of Schererville, as acting dean of the Division of Businessand Economics. She will be responsible for shepherding the divisionthrough the AASCB accreditation appeal,as well as insuring the quality of business programs at IU Northwest byutilizing continuous improvement processes.
“I am prepared to take on the responsibilities of this position andlook forward to this new and exciting endeavor,” says Rominger who hasserved as associate dean of the division for two years and is “very familiarwith division policies, practices and staff.”
Prior to joining the university faculty in 1992, the native Hoosierserved as litigator for the State ofIndiana and had a litigation practice in Crown Point with the firmof Sendak, Rominger and Stanko. Rominger is admitted to practice in theState of Indiana, the Federal Courts in Indiana, and the Seventh CircuitCourts of Appeals in Chicago and represented local Northwest Indiana businessesand individuals in private practice. She also represented several stateagencies as a deputy attorney general, including the State Department ofWelfare where she also served as general counselor and assistant administrator.
