Exploring geological hazards, their causes, effects and learning tolive with these hazards are part of a Summer I Session class atIndianaUniversity Northwest. During the course, individuals will study earthquakes,volcanoes, landslides, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and water contamination.
The environmental geology class is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays,from 8 to 11 a.m. beginning May 15. Summer I Session will run through June30. Late registration is from May 15-19.
