Students, as well as other members of the community interested in startingtheir own businesses are invited to attend IUNorthwestís First Annual Student Entrepreneurship Expo on April19 from 2 to 7 p.m. in the university LibraryConference Center.
Financial advisors, bankers, accountants, lawyers, insurance agents,real estate agents, Internet providers, web page designers, governmentrepresentatives, business owners and others will be available to answerone-on-one questions on the necessary tools needed in order to begin asuccessful business venture.
Businesses and individuals to be represented at the event include theAmerican Business Dynamics, Bank of Calumet, Center for Management Development,Centier Bank, City of Gary Department of Economic Development, ComputerTask Group, Fifth Third Bank, GPM Communications, inc., Hoeppner, Wagner& Evans LLP, John Hancock Financial Services, Kandy Abney, CPA, MacLennan& Bain Insurance, NetNITCO, Pryweller Len Reality, Small Business DevelopmentCenter, US Small Business Administration. Dr. Anna Rominger, IU Northwestbusiness law professor, and the IU Northwest Accounting and Business StudentOrganization will also be available.
