Indiana University Northwest recentlyannounced the appointment of Tracie M. Johnson of Gary as their new Directorof Alumni Relations in the Office of Development, Marketing and Communications.Her responsibilities will include the overseeing and development of IUalumni relations in Northwest Indiana. 

Johnson comes to the university after serving over eight years withthe Gary Public Transportation Corporation. She has a BS degree in businessadministration from Jackson State University and an MPA (master’s in publicadministration) from Indiana University Northwest. She is actively involvedwith alumni programs at IU Northwest, including the Neal-Marshall AlumniAssociation.

“I am extremely excited about this position and look forward to workingwith IU alumni in Northwest Indiana,” says Johnson. "It's wonderful tobe part of the university's Shared Vision."
