Receives Highest Commendation
The National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) has awarded Indiana University Northwestís Center for Economic Education a full five-year affiliation status, the highest commendation of NCEE. According to Robert F. Duvall, Ph.D., president and CEO of the NCEE, the purpose of the review program is to assure quality economic education programs throughout the organizationís national network.
Dr. Gary Lynch, economics professor and director of the IU Northwest Center for Economic Education, was also recognized for his work with the Center and with the Campaign for Economic Literacy. The campaign is a concentrated effort to raise public awareness of the need for economic literacy.
