Reflects on Diverse Sexual Orientation As part of Indiana University Northwest’syearlong Diversity Programming Events, issues concerning gay, lesbian,bisexual and transgendered individuals will be brought to the forefrontthrough the nationally known LoveMakes a Family photo exhibit and by a panel discussion by membersof the Pride YouthProgram. The Love Makes a Family photo exhibit will be located on campusin Hawthorn Hall andSavannahCenter through October 13. Through the photographs and text taken frominterviews with families, the exhibit shows the “existence, love and powerof families” consisting of diverse sexual orientation in a visible andpositive way. On October 11th, youth from the Pride Youth Program, will share theirstories on the family lives and issues of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgenderedyouth. The youth from Chicago’s North Side will hold the panel discussionat noon to 1:15 p.m. in the campus Library Conference Center. Sponsored by IU Northwest in cooperation with the university’s DiversityProgramming Group and Northwest Indiana Pride Alliance, the exhibit andpanel discussion are open to the community.
