The traditional craft of extracting fibers from native plantswill be demonstrated at Indiana UniversityNorthwest on October 9 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in RaintreeHall. Brent Ladd of Purdue Universitywill present the hands-on demonstration. He will bring a variety of plantsto teach basic fiber extraction and the twining of cordage (rope and string).
