Films from Africa, North Africa, India, China, and South America, aswell as several films by African Americans, are being offered for studyby the Indiana University Northwest departmentsof English and ModernLanguages during the spring semester.
As part of cultural studies at the university, the three-credit course,Third World and Black American Films, will be on Monday from 1 to3 p.m. for film screenings and on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. for classdiscussion of the film. Additional film screenings will be open to thepublic on Monday evenings at the university.
