Surviving and Succeeding in College New Student Orientation

Surviving and Succeeding in College is the theme for an Indiana University Northwest special orientation on July 28 from noon to 4 p.m. on campus.

The afternoon will begin with a picnic lunch with "" Chancellor Bruce Bergland and others from the IU Northwest campus community. Following lunch, two separate panels of students, faculty and staff will discuss survival and success in college. One panel will address traditional students while the other will address non-traditional students.

Breakout sessions that include Study Skills and Time Management; Selecting Your Major, Schedule and Career; and Student Activities will be offered twice in the afternoon during the orientation. A campus tour will also be available.
