Complete 15 Hours in One Summer
Indiana University Northwest’s Division of Nursing offers a Fast Track Option for registered nurses who want to get their Bachelor of Science degree while maintaining a flexible schedule. Also known as The RN to BSN Mobility Program, Fast Track Option is being offered again this summer allowing a student to complete up to 15 credit hours in one 10-week period.
With courses open to those who have graduated from a basic nursing program only, the option offers classes one-day a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A clinical course, Transition to Nursing II can be arranged independently with faculty over the 10-week period.
“Courses, while intensive, are accelerated to allow for maximum flexibility,” says Linda Delunas, assistant professor. “Faculty have been very creative in threading important concepts across courses so that students go through a process of self-discovery and professional growth, rather than a list of assigned tasks.”
Beneficial to students who want to complete their degree at a faster pace while maintaining academic quality, the program also places a high value on previous nursing education adding to the richness of the learning experience.
