IUN Hits The Air Waves Your First Choice in the Region Indiana University Northwest, is the theme of a new 30-minute show airing monthly from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on WLTH radio, AM-1370

Hosted by Dorothy Ige, professor in the department of communication at IU Northwest, the show is designed to inform Northwest Indiana residents about campus news and events. The program was developed as a result of efforts between WLTH account executive, Jim Matlock and the university.

"I'm enjoying this immensely," says Ige. "Weíll be talking about a variety of topics, as well as promote education and university events. We will also make the show interactive by encouraging listeners to call in."

The next date the show will air is Feb. 8. Other scheduled dates are March 8, April 12, May 17 and June 24.
