The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Northwest is offering a new undergraduate certificate program, Certificate in Public Policy that only takes nine courses to complete.
“This new program is ideal for police officers and others with an interest in criminal justice and who wish to begin a college program,” says Joseph Pellicciotti, SPEA director and professor.
The new certificate program includes six criminal justice courses, and additional courses in English composition, public speaking, and general psychology or introduction to sociology. All credit hours earned in the public policy program can be counted toward the SPEA associate of science in criminal justice and bachelor of science in criminal justice degree programs.
