A two-day Indiana University Tax Practitioner Institute through interactive television will be offered at the Indiana University Northwest off-campus site in Schererville, on Nov. 5 and 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Through two-way pictures and sounds, the interactive television tax institute will focus on new tax legislation passed by Congress that affects practitioners and their clients. Instructors are from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The Indiana Department of Revenue will also present new information.
The IU Tax Practitioner Institute is approved for 16 CPE hours and is approved for 13 CLE hours by the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education. The director of practice at the US Department of the Treasury has approved 16 hours of continuing education credit for enrolled agents.
The fee for the two-day institute is $185 and includes registration,
refreshments, and all institute materials, including The Commerce Clearinghouse
Master Tax Guide.
