Donna S. Krause of Portage was recently recognized by the board of directors of the American Dental Association (ADA) Endowment and Assistance Fund, Inc. for her “many years of service as a member of the Dental Health Scholarship Screening Committee.”
Honored for her assistance to the committee during the last six years, Krause was specifically recognized for her help in the development of program criteria and scoring mechanisms used in evaluating criteria for scholarships.
“Your expertise in curriculum for dental hygiene and dental assisting students has been most important in establishing and accessing the academic standards used in the Allied Dental Health Scholarship Program,” said Albert H. Guay, DMD, of the ADA Endowment and Assistance Fund.
Krause is an assistant professor in Dental Education Program at Indiana University Northwest. The program includes studies in dental assisting and dental hygiene. More information on IU Northwest’s dental program is at 219-980-6770.
