The diverse cultures and public policies regarding ethnicity, language and mobility of Singapore will be part of a presentation by Indiana University Northwest associate professor, Roberta Wollons on Friday, October 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the campus Library Conference Center, 134 West 35th Ave. Wollons, who recently returned to campus after teaching for a semester and summer session at the National University of Singapore, will also speak on the colonial and post colonial nature of the modern city/state, as well as the campus environment and students at the university. Sponsored by the IU Northwest Anthropology Club, Sociology Club and the Women’s Student Association, the presentation is free of charge and open to the community.
