Major Transition in Enrollment Services

Enrollment Services has undergone a major transition this fall within the Office of the Registrar.

On October 1st our long-time Registrar, Peter Kesheimer, retired. Peter was a terrific Registrar and a true professional. All of us in Enrollment Services will miss Peter greatly. He was one of the finest persons that I have had the opportunity to work with at I.U. Northwest. Those of us in Enrollment Services wish Peter the very best in his retirement!

Our new Registrar is Jo Anne Bowen.

Jo Anne has given significant service to Indiana University . She worked at I.U. in the system-wide student records area for over 25 years. She served in Bloomington as Assistant to the University Registrar, Assistant University Registrar, Director of Admissions/Registrar Services within University Enrollment Services, and Director of University Student Systems Services. Just prior to joining us, Jo Anne served as Director of Academic Policies and Procedures (within I.U. Student Enrollment Services). A native of Gary, Jo Anne attended both I.U. Northwest and Bloomington as a student, receiving her B.S. degree in Business at Bloomington .

We are very pleased to have Jo Anne join Enrollment Services.

Web Site Available to Help You with Questions Regarding the SIS (PeopleSoft) 9.0 Upgrade

Indiana University will be transitioning its Student Information System (SIS) to a new version of the Oracle “PeopleSoft Campus Solutions” software, “in order to stay current with federal regulatory updates and take advantage of new features and software improvements delivered by the vendor.” Student Enrollment Services at I.U. University Administration maintains a Web site providing information on the SIS and the upgrade.
