Career Services News
The Business and Communications Roundtable, which
was held on October 14, 2005, was a great success. We
had 7 employers participate and over 30 students who
attended the event. This opportunity led to several
students being interviewed for internship and job opportunities.
We have one confirmed placement of a Financial Information
Systems major with a local Accounting firm by the name
of Swartz Retson and Associates.
Internships
We are looking forward to another semester of providing
Internship opportunities for our IUN students. Keep
in mind that Internships are an important component
to assist student's with achieving academic success
and marketability upon graduation. Employers look for
those individuals that not only have a degree, but also
related experience in a career field. If you would like
more information regarding the Internship Program, I
am available for class presentations and/or faculty
meetings as well as career counseling sessions for students.
